PAC & SREESH MANDIRAM

Parents Association for Children with Special Needs (PAC) was initiated by Smt. D. Varija Chandra Latha and Shri. Madhu Babu, both NRIs who themselves are parents of two special kids. With a thought of establishing a lifelong support project for special needs children, they approached the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Its eight years since the request was made and the proposal is lying with the TTD with no positive response. The project is standing alone on its own ever since. Surprisingly, TTD is supporting all kinds of major disabilities except brain related disabilities with no support for mentally challenged children (www.tirumala.org).

The delay in establishing support caused immense worry amongst the parents and motivated them to start SREESH MANDIRAM a unique school for children with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and other brain related or intellectual disabilities by providing therapeutic care and special education.

Sreesh Mandiram aims to provide lifelong support to persons with special needs. This philosophy that sets it apart from other similar institutions across the country which are known to provide such support only till the children reach a certain age bracket.

The association was formally registered as a society (Reg.340/2011) in 2011.
