Sreesh Mandiram under the aegis of the PAC constantly endeavors to create a special link between the special need’s children, theirparents, caregivers, caretakers, volunteers and the community to build this linkage and conduct the planned activities, Sreesh Mandiram organizes a series of programs involving various stake holders, some of which are explained below.
Sreesh Mandiram organizes Vocational Training courses on Special Therapies and Techniques that are aimed at preparing parents of special needs children on how to care for and attend to children with special dependencies on their own. These programs and courses address questions and concerns regarding different types of special needs such as dealing with challenges in speech, communication, learning, cognitive abilities, Autism and a variety of physical, psychological and emotional disorders.
It’s not uncommon to find mothers who are clueless about the basic requirements of children with special dependencies and this often leads to negligence and frustration. To address all such issues, the Mother & Child program has been incepted where mothers of special needs children get to learn how to understand their child’s needs and take proper care of them.
Awareness programs are conducted on a regular basis in the school, where doctors, therapists and other specialists in the concerned field are invited to provide information and tips to the parents and caregivers on such therapies and treatment. The information is disseminated with details and practical advice specific to both male and female practices.
The school organizes Medical Camps on a regular basis to ensure the wellbeing of its children. The camp is overseen by qualified doctors and paramedics and includes medical check-up and consultation of all major specialties.
